I've enjoyed working with TV Ramesh and would readily recommend him as a SAS consultant to anyone. TV Ramesh assisted us in creating a leading edge research prototype for DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Agency) TV Ramesh had demonstrable experience in a number of technologies that we used in our project, including SAS/AF and SAS/GRAPH and geographical data processing. Our application was complex and pushed the state of the art, tying together images, multi-media, maps and web pages to allow real time presentation of complex situational analyses to multiple high level military and disaster emergency response decision makers at disparate locations. This project was well received by our customer and TV Ramesh's contributions were critical to achieving that success.

TV has done a wonderful job on our medical encounter data processing development project. I am amazed from his talent and his ability to solve the complexes of the data quality issues. He developed and documented the whole process with his users friendly objective in mind . Even though the project is completed, he offered his availability in contact for future enhancement. He is truly a responsible person of his work. [sic]

Mr. Ramesh developed a high level Retirement Seminar Tracking system for us that not only identified appropriate individuals to attend seminars but tracked attendance as well as created invitations and confirmations, using SAS software. He always went out of his way to insure the system was meeting our needs as they changed, as well as patiently training individuals in the use of this system. I would gladly use him on other projects as they arise. His professionalism and humor was refreshing.

I worked with Mr. Ramesh for a period of over one year and really enjoyed the working relationship. He was courteous, respectful, and had a good sense of humor. Because of his expertise in SAS/Stat and SAS Macro language, he was highly efficient with his time, and enabled me to meet my deadlines. I wouldn't hesitate to contract with him again if the occasion arose.

Mr. Ramesh design and maintained several databases on an IBM mainframe computer using SAS software. These databases were compiled from census data and other demographic data from market research organizations. This data was used to develop a predictive model using SAS/Stat to forecast sales. Mr. Ramesh also worked on statistically analyzing data from test market campaigns and presented results using SAS/Graph. He also performed sensitivity analysis using IFPS to study the impact on corporate financial statements.

Mr. Ramesh's work (primarily under me) was always of the highest caliber and he always met project deadlines. In fact, he stayed with me on several occasions for more than thirty consecutive hours to meet these deadlines. In addition to being an extremely competent professional, Mr. Ramesh is a likeable and ethical man; I cannot say enough good things regarding his character.

I have had the pleasure of working with T.V. Ramesh on a market survey project to benefit program development at St. John Medical Center. Mr. Ramesh was responsible for the majority of the project and did an excellent job. I found him professional, courteous and very responsible. It was a very rewarding, learning experience to work with Mr. Ramesh.

Mr. Ramesh worked on a computer systems project for one of our clients in the utility industry (Pacific Gas and Electric Co.). He designed and maintained systems and databases on an IBM mainframe computer using SAS. These databases were used by him and other analysts to perform statistical analysis in the area of electricity and gas rate design. He was also responsible for creating and maintaining the Electricity Distribution Systems databases and analyzing this data for marginal cost determination. T.V. is an excellent Programmer Analyst amd a loyal employee who I recommend very highly.

Mr. T.V. Ramesh worked with me on a project that I have undertaken for the the U.S. Department of Commerce. For this project I have had to assemble a large database for all counties in the United States to use this database to analyze the determinants of county unemployment rates. Mr. Ramesh has the major responsibility for assembling the database from various sources: U.S. Census of Population, U.S. City County Data Book, County Business Patterns, among other. He skillfully derived data from these various sources and put it in a SAS database. In addition to preparing the database in a form suitable for analysis with SAS software, he helped to formulate models to estimate the relationship between local and national unemployment rates. In particular, he undertook much of the SAS programming that was involved with preparing and analyzing the data.

T.V. Ramesh was employed as a Graduate Research Assistant for the 1985-86 academic year by the Office of Business and Economic Research at Oklahoma State University. His assignment was to provide computer and statistical consulting to faculty and staff members. As this was an experimental position within the organization, T.V. helped define the specific job duties and sought out needed information.

T.V. was highly successful in this position, resulting in the position's retention on a more permanent basis. That T.V.'s availability satisfied a previously un-met faculty need is one factor in this success, but certainly T.V. deserves accolades for his personal contribution.

He handled inquiries professionally and courteously for all users, demonstrating the ability to grasp the problem at hand and to seek a reasonable solution. He improved his technical knowledge on an independent basis in order to better serve the users. He was liked and respected by both the users and fellow staff members. The combination of technical ability, interpersonal skills, and self-motivation should be a significant value to many prospective employers.

The faculty research committee provided a significant indicator of their perception of T.V.'s value as an employee when they expressed concern over locating a replacement a full six month's before his expected graduation date. I believe T.V. has the potential to be a valuable employee to any organization providing him an opportunity and I recommend him highly to prospective employers.

I have known Mr. T.V. Ramesh for about two years. He was a student in my "Computer Applications in Business" course. I also had occasion to use his services when he was working as a systems specialist in the Office of Business and Economic Research. Mr. Ramesh has excellent technical skills. His knowledge of mainframe as well as microcomputer applications software in planning, database management and statistical analysis is superb. Above all, he has the initiative and willingness to learn about new techniques. He is an industrious person and has strong interpersonal skills.

Mr. T.V. Ramesh who was working with us for a little over year as a sales engineer, has been known to me for quite sometime. He was handling a wide range of products, connected with industrial energy conservation and heat recovery systems. As a sales engineer, he was responsible for some pioneering work in the concept of ceramic recuperators and electric arc furnace scrap preheaters. He successfully marketed these products to a number of leading companies in the Indian iron and steel sector. What I found very encouraging, was his ability to promote these products in the absence of any specific training in the field. He made this possible primarily because of clear communication, good understanding coupled with a lot of enthusiasm and thorough commitment to the job. Another important fact, which I am sure will take him a long way, is his ability to work hard and fight odds with a view to achieving his final objective
